Our faculty partners with parents to support them as the primary influence in their child’s life. To do so, Oakwell students alternate between school days on campus and at home. As a result, all of our teaching positions are part-time.

Oakwell Teacher Expectations:
The classroom teacher is one who demonstrates a consistent walk with Christ, a solid knowledge of Scripture, and who aims to integrate biblical principles and a Christian philosophy into all areas of teaching. The classroom teacher is a lifelong learner, willing to embrace the classical model and grow in understanding and practice of the Classical tradition.
An Oakwell teacher is one who:
Has faith in Jesus Christ: A personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord is essential. Applicants should demonstrate their faith through daily practices such as:
Using the Bible as a guide for their beliefs and actions.
