Steps to Apply

We’re delighted you’re considering joining our Oakwell family! While online research is a helpful first step, nothing compares to experiencing our campus in person and seeing what makes Oakwell unique.

Before Applying

  • Attend an Informational Meeting: At least one parent must attend for an overview and application details.

  • Prayerfully Consider Your Decision: Reflect on your family’s educational goals and fit with Oakwell Academy.

Application Process

  • Start Your Application: Link provided after attending an Informational meeting.

  • Submit One Application per Student including recent report card/transcript, test scores, reading list, writing sample, math work, and any applicable evaluations or questionnaires.

  • Complete Required Reading: An Introduction to Classical Education by Christopher A. Perrin.

Important Dates

  • Final Deadline: April 15, 2026 (late applications considered case-by-case)

After You Apply

  • Family Interview: Required for parents and students; prepares for school fit and relationship-building.

  • Student Visit/Placement Testing:

    • Pre-K: readiness questionnaire + classroom visit.

    • K–12: Placement Testing (7th+ grade will also come for a campus visit)

Next Steps If Accepted

  • Acceptance & Enrollment: Receive email with enrollment packet, invoice, and required documents (birth certificate, immunizations/exemption).
