We’re delighted you’re considering joining our Oakwell family! While online research is a helpful first step, nothing compares to experiencing our campus in person and seeing what makes Oakwell unique.
Before Applying
Attend an Informational Meeting: At least one parent must attend for an overview and application details.
Prayerfully Consider Your Decision: Reflect on your family’s educational goals and fit with Oakwell Academy.
Application Process
Start Your Application: Link provided after attending an Informational meeting.
Submit One Application per Student including recent report card/transcript, test scores, reading list, writing sample, math work, and any applicable evaluations or questionnaires.
Complete Required Reading: An Introduction to Classical Education by Christopher A. Perrin.
Next Steps
Family Interview: The applicant(s) and both parents are required to be in attendance, but your whole family is welcome to attend the interview.
Student Visit/Placement Testing:
Pre-K: readiness questionnaire + classroom visit.
K–12: Placement Testing (entering 7th-11th grade will also come for a campus visit)
Upon Acceptance
Acceptance & Enrollment: Receive email with enrollment packet, invoice, and required documents (birth certificate, immunizations/exemption).
Secure Your Spot: Submit payment within 2 weeks; enrollment is finalized once payment is received.
