Before Applying

• Attend an Informational Meeting
  At least one parent must attend an Informational Meeting to learn more about Oakwell Academy and receive an overview of the admissions process. View upcoming dates and RSVP here.

• Prayerfully Consider Oakwell Academy
  Reflect on your family’s educational goals and whether Oakwell Academy is the right fit for your student and family.

Application Process

• Complete the Required Reading
  Read An Introduction to Classical Education by Christopher A. Perrin.

• Begin the Application
  The application link will be provided after you attend an Informational Meeting.

• Submit an Application for Each Student
  Complete a separate application for each student. Applications must include all requested supporting materials, including the student’s recent report card or transcript, test scores, reading list, writing sample, math work, and any applicable evaluations or questionnaires.

Next Steps

• Student Placement Testing

  • Pre-K applicants: Complete a readiness questionnaire and participate in a classroom visit.

  • K–12 applicants: Complete placement testing.

• Family Interview
  The applicant and both parents are expected to attend the family interview. Your entire family is welcome to attend.

Upon Acceptance

• Complete the Enrollment Packet
  Accepted families will receive an email containing an enrollment packet, invoice, and instructions for submitting required documents, including a birth certificate and immunization records or affidavit documentation. Submit the required enrollment payment within two weeks. Enrollment is finalized once payment has been received.
